Introducing our cyber pop playlist. What is cyber pop, you ask? The term came to mind when I first heard the music of Jerry Paper, specifically his album, International Man Of Misery. A quick search on the internets will bring up a wiktionary page that provides the following definition: “pop music evoking cyber themes.” Let’s leave it at that, but not without some more imagery first. The music in this playlist is guaranteed to put you inside the playhouse of someone named Macintosh with a dog named, Apple. Macintosh and Apple live on Netscape street and regularly shop at the Windows 95 market.
They welcome you into a world inspired by synthetic luxuries that never have an expiration date and look as glossy today, as they did the day they were manufactured. Press play and greet them.
